Decentralized blockchain storage
About Arweave
Arweave is a decentralized blockchain network built for permanent data storage. Instead of paying every month, the storage cost is paid once. The network is designed so that many independent computers keep copies of the data.
What happens to your letter
We package your approved letter as a small JSON record and sign it with the Shilalekh Arweave wallet. The record carries tags such as App-Name, Publication-ID and a SHA-256 hash of the content. We send it to an Arweave bundler, which posts it to the network.
The record gets a transaction ID. Anyone can read it at an Arweave gateway, for example https://arweave.net/<transaction ID>.
What Arweave does not do
- It does not verify who wrote the letter.
- It does not check whether the letter is true.
- It does not give a letter legal force.
- It does not allow edits or deletion.
